Aimetis Strengthens Senior Management Team With Two New Executive Appointments

WATERLOO, ON, Canada, April 1, 2008 – Strengthening its senior management team, Aimetis Corp., a global leader in intelligent video surveillance technology, today announced the appointments of two senior executives as the Company continues to enhance its international operations and build on the success of its award-winning products and services.

Jurgen Heller joins the Company as Vice President, Enterprise Sales, and Richard Caballero has been appointed as Vice President, Channel Sales, leading Mass Market Division selling through distributors and system integrators.

As Vice President, Enterprise Sales, at Aimetis, Jurgen Heller will lead the Company's Enterprise Division. Fluent in both German and English, Heller has 18 years of sales and sales management experience in the IT industry, 12 of which have been in network video surveillance. Before joining Aimetis, Heller was Vice President of International Sales & Marketing at Visual Defence, Inc.

Richard Caballero has over 15 years of channel management experience working with Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Prior to Aimetis, Caballero was at Ingram Micro, where he managed the Services Division and oversaw the IT distributor's premier partner communities including an IP Surveillance practice. Caballero has also held senior product management, business development and channel management roles at Corel Corporation and Hewlett-Packard.

Both Caballero and Heller will be based at Aimetis' Corporate headquarters in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
