VIVOTEK Launches Intelligent Network Camera Powered by Aimetis Video Analytics
Leading Provider of Network Video Devices to Showcase Intelligent Network Camera at ISC West Tradeshow in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV, USA – ISC West (April 2, 2008) – Aimetis Corp., a global leader in intelligent video, today announced an OEM partnership agreement with Taiwan-based VIVOTEK (TAIEX: 3454), a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based video cameras and encoders. VIVOTEK's new intelligent network camera will now include Aimetis' VE SeriesTM video analytics embedded on DSP-based digital media processors from Texas Instruments (TI).
VIVOTEK will launch an intelligent network camera featuring the Aimetis VE250, a zero-configuration video analytic engine that works reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments delivering intelligent video capabilities such as perimeter breach detection, multiple area alarm zone, wrong direction, along with other applications.
